CHARLOTTE FREW BROWN

FINE  ARTIST

Home: Welcome

About The Artist

Charlotte graduated from the University of Nottingham with a Bachelors of Architecture in 2016, however has since turned her focus to fine art, having always dreamt of becoming a professional artist. Charlotte has spent the past few years exploring a variety of techniques and styles, including abstract, realism, and special effects makeup, and since January 2022 has been working as a full time artist.

Using a range of media including acrylics and watercolours, Charlotte has created a broad portfolio of abstract land, sea, sky and mountainscapes, as well as detailed realistic pet portraits. Taking reference from artists such as Redon, Turner and Klimt, Charlotte depicts decadent, ethereal abstract pieces that are almost dripping with the 24kt gold leaf highlights that adorn them. Charlotte has previously exhibited her abstract work at The Brick Lane Gallery, and regularly takes her pieces to craft fairs and art shows. Many of her works are available for purchase, and she is also open for commissions for both abstract pieces and pet portraits.

Charlotte currently works from her home studio in Derbyshire, where she takes reference and inspiration from the glorious natural landscapes around her for her works.
